Ritzau Videoweb - Terms of use

Introduction

Ritzau Videoweb consists of the following two types of content:

  1. Newsvideos (marked with blue)
  2. Infovideo (marked with green)
  3. Citatvideo (marked with orange)

In addition to the terms below, the use of content is also regulated by the contract between the customer and Ritzau

The terms below are translated, and in case of doubt, the Danish terms are applicable.

  1. Terms of use – News videos

The customer has the right to publish the content in its full form as well as in edited and translated form, just as the customer has the right to publish the content as a part of self-produced content, as long as it does not change the message of the content.

The content may only be published on platforms and publications agreed upon between the customer and Ritzau.

Content marked “AP/Ritzau” is redistributed by Ritzau from Associated Press (AP), and may only be published on online Danish internet domains. These videos will be marked with: ”Not for broadcast and foreign customers”.

The customer is obliged to present the content in with the source as presented on the site. For example: “AP/Ritzau”.

Content may be marked with further restrictions, in which case they will be described in the “restriction-field” under each video.

  1. Terms of use – Infovideo

The content can be published on all types of platforms and publication owned by the receiver.

The videos in this category are redistributed by Ritzau from third parties, without supervision from Ritzau. Use of the videos is therefore at the customers own risk. Ritzau cannot be held liable for the content of these videos.

Ritzau does not hold the copyrights for any content in this category, and therefore the customer is obliged to present the content provided with source of the sender.

  1. Terms of use - Citatvideo

Content from Citatvideo is distributed on behalf of Ritzaus third party media client.

The customer has the right to publish the content in its full form as well as in edited and translated form, just as the customer has the right to publish the content as a part of self-produced content, as long as it does not change the message of the content.

The content can be published on all types of platforms and publication owned by the receiver.

The videos in this category are redistributed by Ritzau from third party media without supervision from Ritzau. Use of the videos is therefore at the customers own risk. Ritzau cannot be held liable for the content of these videos.

  1. Terms of use – Underholdningsvideo (Entertainment video)

The customer has the right to publish the content in its full form. It is not allowed to edit or translate the material in any form.

The content in the category Underholdningsvideo (entertainment video) may only be published on platforms and publications agreed upon between the customer and Ritzau.

The videoes may contain restrictions. These will be visible under ’Restrictions’ in the text below each video. If a video contains material distributed from Cover ltd. (Cover) the material may only be published on online Danish internet domains and never on Broadcast. These videos will be marked with: ”Not for broadcast and foreign customers”.

The customer is obliged to present the content with the source as presented on the site. For example: “Ritzau Fokus/Cover”.

Content may be marked with further restrictions, in which case they will be described in the “restriction-field” under each video.

 

Terms of use – Uploading content (Infovideo and Citatvideo)

The customer holds the full responsibility for the content of videos uploaded via Ritzau Infovideo and Citatvideo.

Ritzau does not supervise the content uploaded to the service from any of its customers.

The customer is responsible for ensuring; that all content, uploaded to Videoweb, is not violating any third party intellectual property rights.

Uploaded content is required to be newsworthy. It can contain product news and consumer information, but cannot include openly or hidden advertising encouraging purchase.

Uploaded content has to comply with Danish law, and has to live up to the ethnical rules of the press, and may not harm the honor of any third party individual or company.

Furthermore, the Terms and conditions in the agreement between Ritzau and the customer apply.
